The South St. Vrain River flows gently through sunlit trees just outside Lyons, Colorado, its clear water slipping over pale stone and shallow bends. Cottonwoods and birch lean toward the stream, their fresh green leaves catching the long light of early summer as the river traces its quiet course through the canyon.

This image was created along the South St. Vrain, a few miles beyond Lyons, where the river divides into its northern and southern branches before descending toward the plains. Here, the landscape feels open and unhurried—water, rock, and forest held in a simple, balanced relationship shaped by season and flow.

Part of The Front Range collection, this work reflects the region’s intimate waterways, where mountain runoff becomes river, and the shift from elevation to openness begins. It invites a sense of ease and attentiveness, grounded in place and time rather than spectacle.

This work is ideal for reproduction as a fine art print, with or without a frame, or on stretched canvas.

It can also be rendered seamlessly across a wide range of products, including apparel such as t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, towels, and blankets, as well as functional items like mugs and other everyday objects.
